Caleb

Nickname: Favorite Grandkid

“Adrenaline junkie chasing Christ through the miles—15+ ultras, more marathons and halves than I can count, 7–8 Olympic tris, and four Ironmans by 2026. Mindset makes warriors: the one who says he can and the one who says he can’t are both right. No excuses—just consistency, grit, and grace. I run to push limits, lift others, and remind everyone that God gave us one life—don’t waste it. As the owner of Outpace, I celebrate more than medals—I honor the miles, the failures, the victories, and every early morning you showed up to outpace who you used to be.”

Meet Caleb, our group’s resident Ironman, ultra-running wild card, and professional hype machine. If there’s a race happening anywhere on the planet—and we mean anywhere—Caleb’s probably already googling flights, lacing up his shoes, and stuffing a honey bun in his pocket for good luck. 🍯👟✈️

Caleb isn’t just a runner; he’s a force. A world traveler with one very specific rule: If the trip doesn’t end in a race, why are we even going? He’s been known to sign up for impromptu ultras faster than most people can decide what to order for lunch. Case in point: there was that legendary moment when he learned about an ultramarathon at 11 a.m. the day it started… and by hour ten of the race, he was already ON the course, casually knocking out 30+ miles like it was just another Tuesday. Absolute menace. Certified icon. 🏃‍♂️💨

When he’s not accidentally running 30 miles, he’s encouraging everyone around him. Caleb brings the big hype, the loud cheers, and the kind of positive energy that could power an entire aid station. If you’re running with Caleb, you’re getting a personal hype squad, a comedy show, and probably roped into some shenanigans you didn’t see coming—but will never forget. 🙌🔥

He trains hard (like, insanely hard), but he plays even harder. Whether it’s taking on a new country, creating the brilliant Outpace 3D Maps, or plotting his next ridiculous race adventure, Caleb is living that work-hard-play-hard-run-hard lifestyle 24/7.

He’s one part endurance beast, one part chaos gremlin, and one part golden-retriever energy—and honestly, we wouldn’t have it any other way. 🐾🔥🏅

Caleb is the proud co-creator of the Bibs and Bad Ideas Podcast— he details what it really takes to become an Ironman, from the brilliant training tips to the questionable decisions made somewhere around mile 87. With a mix of humor, hard-won wisdom, and the occasional “maybe don’t try this at home” story, Caleb dives deep into the world of endurance racing.
